The first - Tropical Storm Hanna is headed towards where my parents live (and where I am now). We're hoping it won't strengthen too much but they're saying it will likely come in at a Category 1 Hurricane. Keep your fingers crossed that it will either curve and go more north of us or if it does hit, it won't be too bad. Especially if Hurricane Ike (currently a Category 4) decides to follow in Hanna's footsteps.
The second - My parents have an offer on their condo. It's a pretty low offer and they've countered it hoping to bring him up to where they need to be financially to pay off their mortgage, repay me what they've borrowed, and maybe have a little left over as a safety net. So, please cross your fingers that this guy agrees to buy their condo. This would be such a blessing for them and would alleviate many of their financial difficulties.
