Made it to NC

I made it to NC. I drove home yesterday, leaving my apartment about 7:15am and arriving here at 1:15. My parents weren't home so I tried to get in. But they had made new keys since the last time I was home. Luckily their neighbor with a spare key was home so I was able to let myself in. It wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have my two kitties with me.

My parents were happy to see me. They weren't expecting me until Friday, but figured I might show up today. I tend to come home earlier than I tell them.

I also got an e-mail from a woman doing an article for the Wall Street Journal on personal finance bloggers. Because of my traveling, I didn't get the e-mail until this morning. She had already filed her story, but she still interviewed me for a future piece. It's pretty cool that I might be in the Wall Street Journal sometime. :-)

Your blog was mentioned in the Sunday Journal Starting Out article

Stopped by to say congrats on the Journal mention- You are quoted as saying you "learn from others' mistakes bu also commiserate in the fact the you're not alone in making them."

I second that as that is what life is all about, learning and growing!
